Italian vehicle manufacturer Fiat was founded in 1899 and has become a well known motorhome manufacturer. The most common van or chassis used for Fiat motorhomes is the Ducato. The Ducato is the most common motorhome base in Europe with a predicted two thirds of all motorhomes based on the chassis. Renault Motorhomes

Founded in 1899, Renault is a successful European motor vehicle manufacturer which has a rich history in racing. Renault has a number of popular cars including the Clio and the Mégane as well as a collection of light commercial vehicles.

VW Campervans

Volkswagen is a German vehicle manufacturer founded in 1937. The company’s relationship with motorhomes is epitomized by the famous “Type 2” van. Nowadays there are a number of more modern VW van conversions available, many of which are homebuilt or DIY projects.

Type 2 Campervan – The iconic Volkswagen campervan type 2 is perhaps one of the most well known campervans. VW Campervans became popular around the 60-70’s and now have a loving fan base and support network.

Volkswagen T5 -The Volkswagen T5 was launched in 2002 as a commercial van or people mover. The van can be converted into a motorhome with an elevating roof.
